It’s not HARD to Live Well – Just Have More Sex!

It’s a pretty well-regarded fact by the scientific community that a good orgasm is healthy when introduced into your lifestyle as a regular occurrence. Not only does it just feel good to do it, but also the hormones that make you feel good have very specific health effects on men in particular.

According to a study done by Wilkes University, sex goes as far as increasing the amount of immunoglobulin A (IgA), which helps your body stave off the cold and fluviruses. IgA’s main function in our bodies is to protect exposed surfaces like skin from invading antibodies. Crossing the finish line and orgasming can also help reducestress and physical pain caused by migraines thanks to the release ofoxytocin. Oxytocin is a hormone which helps you physically relax and unwind, and is often released with dopamine, the happy hormone. That’s why sex can be a great way to unwind from a tough week at work. (Hint: guys, oxytocin is also known as the love hormone, so having sex can also bring you closer to your partner.)

Sex also has some pretty exclusive benefits for men, too. For example, a Harvard study shows that more frequent orgasm can significantlylower chances of prostate cancer, which is the most common cancer diagnosedin men after skin cancer. The study found that roughly 33% less men in earlyadulthood suffered from prostate cancer when they orgasmed almost two times more than their counterparts. Engaging in regular sex can also stave off erectiledysfunction in advancing age, say doctors and researchers from the TampereUniversity Hospital in Finland. "Regular sexual activity,” says Finnishscientist Juha Kosimaki, “preserves potency in a similar fashion as physicalexercise maintains functional capacity.”

Scientific reports about highly medical topics aside, hereare some other ways that sex can help men live better:

  • Sex is a great physical activity! It burnsplenty of calories, and is a whole lot more fun than going to the gym. Those Valentine’s Day chocolates have to go somewhere right?
  • A good orgasm can help you sleep; the oxytocin that we mentioned earlier definitely helps people get a good night’s rest.
  • It can keep you looking young just by making you feel good. Thanks, hormones!
  • Sex can even increase heart health (i.e. combathigh blood pressure) by increasing your body’s level of testosterone.

So if you, or any other man that you know, is interested inhaving more, or better sex, we at Super Good Stuff would like to recommend PowerUp for Men, a natural nutritional supplement which promotes healthy blood flow to the genital region and can increase sexual performance.
