Understanding Chrysanthemum as a Supplement
Chrysanthemums are beautiful, many-petaled flowers that come in lots of pretty colors. For hundreds of years, they’ve also been used in ancient Chinese medicine to treat fever, headaches, and inflammatory conditions.
Scientific research on the use of Chrysanthemums is scare, but several studies have found positive benefits. A Sept. 2003 study found that these gorgeous flowers possessed antimicrobial properties, while a March 2002 study suggested that this flower power might help combat tumors.
Today, relying on the wisdom of the past, Chrysanthemums are often included in supplements to treat chest pain, high blood pressure, diabetes, fevers, colds, and headaches. We believe in the botanical power of Chrysanthemums, which is why we’ve included it in the proprietary blend of our popular Cell Max supplement.
